The airline industry will benefit in many aspects from the ETS compliancy project offered by the consortium:

  • Total solution covering all aspects of ETS compliance
  • Avoid legal problems and unpleasant surprises by first relying on industry experts
  • "First time right" approach by leveraging existing knowledge for strategy solution, IT system implementation and embedded verification
  • The MRV solution system is based on existing systems within the airline and it is combining the relevant sources without major changes and investment
  • The MRV solution system will be within the airline and will remain with the airline, while other systems require outsourcing of systems and/or data
  • The solution is standard but flexible in size and complexity, depending on the situation and needs of the airline
  • The IT system FuelPlus EFM Emissions is pre-verified by an independent verifier assuring that the output will qualify for verification. Pre-verification will allow for efficient verification in 2010/11 and onwards, building on system knowledge acquired
  • FuelPlus EFM Emissions allows for growth and can be functionally extended to cover the aspects of fuel management and operational reporting

The ETS compliancy project prepares an airline to establish a program that reduces costs and improves operational efficiency in different areas:

  • Implements green aviation strategy
  • Sets up the Fuel Management Process
  • Establishes operational reporting
  • Automates processes around fuel
  • Includes annual verification
